Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, said, “10 customers of e-commerce company Alesha Mart have been reimbursed Tk 28 lakh. Efforts are being made to reimburse all customers in phases.”
Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh was the chief guest at the function presided over by AHM Safiquzzaman, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Head, Central Digital Commerce Cell at the Secretariat on Thursday (February 17).
Meanwhile, AHM Safiquzzaman, head of the e-commerce cell, said that more companies would be reimbursed this month.
Through e-commerce business, various institutions of the country corrupt and take away thousands of customers. The e-commerce cell of the commerce ministry is continuing the process of returning the money. Another company, Alesha Mart, started giving refunds to customers on Thursday (February 17th) after the process of refunding the money to the customers of QCoom started recently.
According to the list of Alesh Mart, 10 people have been given back 26 lakh 38 thousand Tk. Meanwhile, the customers are overwhelmed after getting the money back after various processes.
Tapan Kanti Ghosh, senior secretary at the commerce ministry, said that efforts were being made to return the money to all the customers.
