All types of examinations at the National University have been postponed. This information has been given in a press release on Friday (January 21) signed by the University Director of Public Relations Md. Ataur Rahman.
According to the notification, all types of examinations at the National University have been postponed as per the government instructions till further orders. If the situation is normal, the schedule of these tests will be informed later.
Earlier in the day, Health Minister Zahid Malek said educational institutions would be closed for the next two weeks due to the deteriorating coronavirus situation in the country.

The minister said, “We started school-college and economic activities as the corona infection have come down a bit. But now it is seen that the rate of school-college infection is increasing. The students are coming to the hospital for treatment. It’s scary.”
Meanwhile, a notification in this regard has been issued by the District and Field Administration Branch of the Cabinet Division in this regard.
The circular further said that no more than 100 people can be gathered at social/political/religious/state functions. Those who will join in these cases must bring the vaccination certificate or PCR certificate within 24 hours.
Officers or employees in government/private offices, factories need to get vaccination certificates. The concerned authorities will bear the responsibility in this regard.
The health minister said the next decision would be taken after two weeks considering the situation to open or close the educational institution.
