Due to the increase in corona infection, physical examinations will be closed at Begum Rokeya University (BRUR) till February 6. However, the online class examination will continue. In addition, residential halls will remain open.
Saturday (January 22, 2022) evening, the decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the Academic Council chaired by the University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Hasibur Rashid.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sarifa Salwa Dina, Deans of various faculties, Heads of Departments, and expert members participated.
According to the decision of the meeting, physical education activities will be closed till February 6. However, online class examinations and admission activities will continue.
University offices will be open to a limited extent from 10 am to 2 pm in compliance with the health rules. University halls will remain open. However, hygiene will be ensured.
At the 35th meeting of the Academic Committee on December 5, 2021, it was decided that all the examinations can be taken physically (offline) as well as online.
