Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni has reached Sylhet to resolve the ongoing crisis at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
She arrived at Osmani International Airport by air at 8:50 am on Friday (February 11). Leaders and activists of Sylhet district and metropolitan Awami League greeted him with flowers. Deputy Minister for Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel and Minister for Expatriate Welfare Imran Ahmed were present on the occasion.
After an exchange of views with local political leaders and activists at the Sylhet Circuit House, the Education Minister will visit the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal after inspecting various projects. She will then leave Sylhet Circuit House for Shahjalal University of Science and Technology at 3 pm. She will exchange views with teachers-students and representatives of various organizations for resolving the ongoing crisis of the university from 4 pm to 7 pm. Later, she will leave Sylhet for Dhaka on a flight at 8:20 pm.
