HSC and equivalent examination results have been published. After 11:30 am on Sunday (February 13), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined virtually and officially announced the results.
At the same time, the main ceremony of publishing the results of the examination was organized at the auditorium of the International Mother Tongue Institute at Segunbagicha in the capital. On the occasion, Education Minister Dipu Moni received the results from the boards on behalf of the Prime Minister.
The results showed that the pass rate in Sylhet was 94.80 percent, 4,731 people got GPA-5, the pass rate in Comilla was 97.49 percent, GPA-5 got 14,153, the pass rate in Barisal was 95.76 percent, GPA 5 got 9,971 people, The pass rate in Dinajpur board is 92.43 percent and 15,349 students got GPA-5.
In Chittagong, 89.39 percent of the pass, 13,720 got GPA-5, the average pass rate in Jessore Board of Education is 98.11 percent, besides 20,878 students got GPA-5.
This time there were 13 lakh 99 thousand 690 candidates from 9 thousand 183 educational institutions in 2 thousand 621 centers.
Of these, 11 lakh 38 thousand 17 were candidates under 9 general education boards. Of these, 2 lakh 58 thousand 830 are from science, 6 lakh 56 thousand 132 are from humanities and 2 lakh 27 thousand 55 are from commerce department.
Besides, one lakh 13 thousand 144 are from Madrasa and one lakh 48 thousand 503 are from Technical Education Board.
