Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her hope of reopening the educational institutions at the end of February if the coronavirus infection rate decreases.
The premier made this expectation at the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations results unveiling ceremony at the International Mother Language Institute auditorium on Sunday (February 13). She joined the function virtually from her official residence Gonobhaban.
She said, “Now a bad situation is going on and we hope, at the end of this month the situation would improve. So, we are expecting that we can reopen the educational institutions at that time.”
Urging people to receive vaccine for coronavirus, PM said, “The Covid-19 vaccination campaign continues as we can reopen the educational institutions. I request those people to take the vaccine who have yet not received it. If you receive the vaccine you can the dire impacts of Coronavirus.”

Sheikh Hasina said, “The government can continue online and television teaching as it could develop the country as digital one. Even then, our students are worst affected by the Covid-19.
