Admission test for MBBS first year of government-private medical college will be held on 1st April 2021-22 academic year. This year, 33 students will take part in the admission test for each seat. This is 5 more seats per seat than the previous year and the highest in history.
According to the Department of Health Education, 1 lakh 43 thousand 730 students have applied to take part in the medical admission test this year. This is the highest number of applications ever. In contrast, the total number of seats in the government medical college is 4,350. As such, 33 students in each seat will take part in the examination. Last year this number was 28 per seat.
Admission test will be held in 57 venues of 19 centers this year.
Earlier, online application forms were accepted from 10 am on February 28. Applications are accepted till 12 midnight on 15th March and the fee for admission test is deposited till 16th March.
It was also informed that the examination in Dental College will be held on 22nd April and the post graduate examination in BSMMU will be held on 18th March.
Department of Health Education (Medical Education and Manpower Development Branch) Director Prof. Ahsan Habib said that all kinds of preparations are already underway for the admission test to be held on April 1.
