Another musician, Joy Shahriar, has written an autobiography of Kumar Bishwajit. The book whose name has not been finalized yet, will be published at the next book fair. It will bring a Ajob Publications to Joy’s own organization.
Joy Shahriar said, the book will tell the story of Kumar Bishwajit from his childhood, memories of the liberation war, banding in Chittagong, coming to Dhaka, movie songs, songs on TV, albums.
Joy added that he had recently handed over the manuscript to Kumar Bishwajit. Earlier, on June 6 last year, he started work on the book. Then for 20-22 consecutive days, he interviewed Kumar Bishwajit.
Regarding the book, Joy said, “Kumar Bishwajit is a great asset of our country. I grew up listening to his songs. He has also sung multiple songs to my tune. All in all, I have a great relationship with him. Maybe you can trust me because you understand me. Fans will be able to know many unknown things about his life through the book.”
The pre-order of the book will start from January 15. Only then will its name be officially announced. Besides, the package will be unveiled at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on January 28 in the afternoon. It will be available at the book fair in February.
It is to be mentioned that Kumar Bishwajit’s ‘Bikol Pakhir Gaan’ was last released last year to the tune of Joy Shahriar.
