Nayem Mahmud, a young entrepreneur of Mathbaria Municipal Digital Center, Mathbaria Upazila has won the Best Entrepreneur Award of Pirojpur District.
Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner Abu Ali Md. Sajjad Hossain handed over the award of excellence to him at the concluding ceremony of Digital Bangladesh e-Service Campaign-2021 on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of Digital Center.
Deputy Commissioner Abu Ali Md. Sajjad Hossain, ICT Assistant Commissioner Monira Parveen, and other senior officials of the district administration were present.
Nayem Mahmud, the entrepreneur of Mathbaria Municipal Digital Center, has already gained popularity by delivering digital services to the people of the area. He has launched Mathbaria Municipal Bank Asia Agent Banking Center as well as Bank Asia banking transaction activities.
He is trying to provide information services at the doorsteps of the people. This new activity has created a lot of interest among the beneficiaries. Especially old and sick people are very happy to receive this service from their convenient place.
Nayem Mahmud has become acceptable to all by extending banking facilities to the backward people deprived of union-level facilities. Due to the activities of the Pirojpur district administration, he has been considered the best entrepreneur in the district.
Expressing gratitude to the officials of the Pirojpur district administration, Nayem Mahmud said, “The district administration has selected me as the best and will further inspire my work. I will continue to strive to bring information services to the doorsteps of more grassroots people in the future.”
