Priungshu Roy Chowdhury, a student of class 10 of Chattogram Government High School, did an exceptional thing and made the best usage of his time. He learned 120 countries’ national anthems in their languages. It took 8 months to learn these.
In an interview, he said that it’s been a hobby to sing and listen to music since he was a kid. He said that he likes every genre. He added that when he used to see players sing the national anthem on the field he got goosebumps. Then he got the idea to learn and sing the national anthem of different countries. His dream is to make a world record. He found out a child-musician from Canada has a record with 76 national anthems. He soon started learning and within 8 months he learned 120 national anthems from YouTube.
He also added, “I knew children are wasting their time by gaming or in other sources which is useless. So, I decided to do an exceptional thing. From my childhood, I wanted to do something for my country and represent my country to the world. Now, I attempt to break the current world record of Capri Everitt who sang 76 countries national anthems.”
He can also play ukulele and tabla. Even though he didn’t get any help to learn these songs, he made his dream come true.
He believes that this achievement of learning different countries’ national anthems will inspire everyone to do an exceptional thing. He said, “Guinness World Records is optional, but I am happy by doing something new thing and creating a new milestone. All of my friends, relatives, and parents are happy for me.”
