State Minister for Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali visited the temporary airport at Noakhali. He visited Char Shullukia village in Dharmapur union of Sadar upazila of Noakhali on Friday morning as part of the government’s initiative to transform an abandoned airstrip on 16 acres of land into a full-fledged airport.
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali said, “Our ministry has already inspected the site of the airport. We are visiting again today on the instructions of the Prime Minister. There has already been a major revolution in the aviation sector. We toured the whole area, including the runway. We are trying to meet the expectations of the people of Noakhali.”
