The new Election Commission (EC) has been formed by President Md. Abdul Hamid. President Abdul Hamid has appointed Kazi Habibul Awal as the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).
A notification in this regard has been issued on Saturday (February 28).

Besides, Begum Rashida Sultana, Brigadier General (retd.) Ahsan Habib Khan, Md. Alamgir and Md. Anisur Rahman have been appointed as Election Commissioners.
