It was already known that Russell Domingo would return to Bangladesh at the end of BPL. He has finally arrived. He will leave for Chittagong on Sunday (February 20) with a coroner’s negative certificate. The Tigers will start the one-day fight against Afghanistan there.
The three-match series will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. All the national team cricketers have spent busy time in BPL. So it was not possible to start the preparation earlier. Now the practice of ODI team will start.
It is known that there will be no more practice in Dhaka. Bangladesh ODI team will go to Chittagong and practice once. Team Bangladesh is also scheduled to visit the port city on Sunday.
The whole team is scheduled to have a covid test on Saturday. Everyone including cricketers, coaching and supporting staff will be tested. All those who are negative in the test will enter the biological safety zone from Saturday. Domingo will also join the team at this time.
