Satyaprakash Sharma, a resident of Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh, and his wife Rukmini Sharma have made a 400 kg lock for the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
This is known to be the largest lock in the world(News of the Gulf News).
The key to open the lock weighs 30 kg. It took six months to make these 10 feet lock. It cost two lakh rupees to make the lock.
Satyaprakash is a lock trader. He said many changes will be made to the lock before it is sent to Ayodhya. The lockbox, lever, and hood will be made of brass. A steel scrap seat will be placed in the lock to prevent rust, which requires more money for this purpose. So he seeks financial help from people to make his dream come true.
Even before this, Satyaprakash had garnered enough praise by making a lock weighing 300 kg last year.
Incidentally, on December 6, 1992, the Babri Masjid was attacked and destroyed. In 2019, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Hindus’ demand for the construction of Ram Mandir. The disputed land was handed over to Hindu organizations. However, all the accused in Babri destruction were acquitted.
