Three people have been killed in an explosion on an Indian Navy warship. Another 11 people were injured in the incident. The bomber struck shortly after noon in the dockyard of a Mumbai warship. The country’s defense ministry confirmed the matter on Wednesday (January 19th).
The bomber struck shortly after 4:30 a.m. in a cell inside the Indian Navy’s ENS Ranbir. The injured were taken to hospital after receiving first aid.
The country’s defense ministry said the ship had suffered no major damage. However, the authorities have ordered an investigation to find out how the blast took place. The ship was about to return to shore when the explosion occurred.
