Besides, court has also taken a stand in favor of the law which provides for 5 to 12 years imprisonment for those who collaborate in suicide. The court also opposed the referendum.
Leaving this beautiful world, the tendency of voluntary suicide is increasing in different countries. In Italy, a land of ancient history and heritage, the trend has grown at an alarming rate in recent years. Meanwhile, local time on Tuesday, the country’s Supreme Court banned suicide. The court ruled in favor of the maximum 12 years imprisonment for the accomplice.
Pope Francis has said that a civilized nation cannot accept the death of a person even if he is seriously ill and suffering from unbearable physical and mental suffering. He also criticized the legality of voluntary death in several countries, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany and New Zealand.
The trend of suicide is increasing day by day in different developed countries of the world. Among Asian countries, Japan, South Korea and Sri Lanka have the highest suicide rates.
