A three-day security conference has ended in Munich, Germany. The Russia-Ukraine issue was also at the center of the discussion on the last day. On the same day, the leaders of the Western world discussed the issue of protecting the people of Ukraine, including the prevention of Russian military aggression.
US Vice President Kamala Harris also praised NATO’s role in the conference. The three-day 58th Munich Security Conference ended on Sunday local time without a proper solution to the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
Even in the last days, the leaders of the Western world were optimistic about the action plan to resolve the border crisis, including the establishment of peace instead of war between Russia and Ukraine.
One of the topics on the table was the readiness of the Western world, including NATO and the EU, to provide security to the people of Ukraine in the event of an attack.
At the conference, US Vice President Kamala Harris, the head of NATO and top officials of the EU Commission suggested that Russian President Vladimir Putin should avoid insistence and sit down for immediate talks.
