Russia has launched an offensive strike in Ukraine since dawn on Thursday (February 24th). According to international media reports, more than 40 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the attack by Russian forces.

According to the British media Guardian, Russian forces have launched a major attack on Hostmail’s Antonov airport. The attack was carried out by a MI-7 assault helicopter.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Interior Ministry said Russia had seized the airport.
Earlier, more than 40 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in an attack by Russian forces in Ukraine. Ten civilians were also killed in the first hour of the operation.
According to Ukraine, Russia is launching missile attacks on various installations of Ukraine’s border guards and military forces.
Russian military vehicles have entered Ukraine via Crimea. A live stream video from the Belarusian border crossing on Thursday morning local time showed rows of troops and military vehicles in Ukraine.
French President Emmanuel Macron has called for an end to Russia’s military action. At the same time, the French president strongly condemned Russia’s decision to wage war against Ukraine.
“Russia’s military operation in Ukraine must be stopped immediately. Expressing solidarity with Ukraine. We will work with his partners and allies to end the war,” he said in a tweet on Thursday (February 24th).
Earlier in the day, President Emanuel Macron spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He called on all to stand by Ukraine.
