Russia declared a ceasefire in four cities on Monday (March 7th), the 12th day of the invasion of Ukraine. At the same time, it has been announced to launch humanitarian corridors in these cities.
The four cities are Kiev, Kharkiv, Mariupol and Sumi. A ceasefire has been declared for the safe evacuation of residents of the four cities.
Russia’s Defense Ministry quoted Interfax as saying.
Meanwhile, UK defense officials say they believe Russian troops have made little progress in the past 24 hours. Due to the strong resistance of the Ukrainian fighters and the support of weak equipment, they are facing severe obstacles.
According to daily intelligence reports, Russia is unlikely to be able to achieve its planned goals any time soon.
