More than 4,500 people have been evacuated from two Ukrainian cities, Mariupol and Huliapol, according to Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk.
On Wednesday, seven “humanitarian corridors” were used to evacuate them, Versacechuk said on social media.
Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk said 2,912 of the 4,554 people evacuated had left Mariupol for the city of Zaporizhia in their private cars. He also said that 60 tons of humanitarian aid have been distributed in different cities.

Russia has been invading Ukraine for a month. Russia has faced international outrage over Moscow, as well as tough financial sanctions from the European Union, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
According to the UN refugee agency, more than 3.6 million people have fled Ukraine to neighboring countries.
