Russia has given the latest information on military casualties in the Ukraine operation. Russian officials say 1,351 Russian troops have been killed so far in the operation in Ukraine. 3 thousand 825 people were injured.
On Friday (March 25), the 30th day of the attack, the Russian Defense Ministry reported casualties for the second time. The Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported.
However, Ukraine claims that thousands of Russian troops have been killed in the conflict. On Thursday (March 24), Ukrainian defense officials said Russia had lost at least 15,600 troops in the war.
In a Facebook post, Ukraine’s General Staff said that in addition to thousands of troops, 530 Russian tanks, 1,597 armored vehicles, 108 planes, 124 helicopters and 50 drones were destroyed.
The Western military alliance, NATO, has given almost the same amount of information on Russian military casualties. Coalition leaders say 1,800 troops have been killed in Ukraine so far. However, the world’s mainstream media say Ukraine and NATO’s claims have not been verified.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation in Ukraine. Since then, Russian forces have continued in the Eastern European country.
