4-H Communication Arts Contest in North Dakota Sees Record Number of Participants

Recently, kids from Ward and Mountrail counties in North Dakota dazzled audiences with their exceptional public speaking skills at the Communication Arts Contest held in Stanley. This year marked a significant milestone as it was the largest contest since the two counties were combined, boasting a total of 19 talented contestants spanning three age groups: seniors aged 13-18, juniors aged eight to 12, and cloverbuds aged five to seven.

The 4-H Communication Arts program serves as a platform for young participants to hone their communication skills, learn how to gather and organize information effectively, practice presenting in front of an audience, and ultimately build confidence in their public speaking abilities.
