US Extends Troop Deployment at Mexico Border
WASHINGTON - The Pentagon announced on Monday (Jan 14) an extension of the deployment of active-duty soldiers and Coast Guard members at the US-Mexico border until Sept 30. The mission's scope will expand to include surveillance and detection activities.
