Showcasing Emerging Talent

The Gallery Cosmos Pavilion will feature 20 promising young visual artists and printmakers, showcasing a total of 35 artworks. This initiative is part of the gallery's ongoing commitment to promote emerging talent in Bangladesh and provide a platform for these artists to gain recognition on a global scale. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to purchase artwork from the gallery during the event.

Empowering Women in the Art World

Women have long been pivotal in the art world, yet their representation has not always been proportional to their talent. This event aims to celebrate and promote women artists who are not just filling galleries, but shattering glass ceilings and paving the way for the next generation of female creators. These women challenge societal norms, question the status quo, and offer diverse perspectives through their art.

Pioneering Women Entrepreneurs in the Arts

Nahar Khan, a writer, curator, and patron of the arts, is one of the pioneering women entrepreneurs in the art world. As the Executive Director at Gallery Cosmos and the Cosmos Foundation, as well as the Director at United News of Bangladesh (UNB) and Vice President of the Cosmos Group, Nahar Khan is dedicated to inclusive curatorial practices and curatorial activism. She works towards challenging assumptions and sparking meaningful discourse around social, racial, and political issues.

Recognizing Artistic Endeavors

Gallery Cosmos has gained international recognition for its artistic interventions, including the “The Black Story” project, an interactive virtual exhibition curated by Nahar Khan during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to working with differently-abled children in the art space, the gallery holds various art events and workshops to foster the country's art and culture.
