Charlotte Ho, assistant general manager of branding and marketing at Discovery Bay, shared with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that Rabbit Studio will be responsible for crafting an overarching strategy, managing projects, and overseeing the development of content and visuals on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Additionally, the agency will handle social media wall games, enquiries, risk management, media placement, and optimization, as well as evaluation and reporting.

The primary focus of VisitDiscoveryBay’s social media efforts is to engage with the local community and expats in Hong Kong, with the belief that there is ample room for growth in this market for Discovery Bay. Ho emphasized the importance of social media in modern marketing and promotion, especially in light of the recent launch of the DB Brand Campaign as part of the DB2.0 blueprint.

By partnering with Rabbit Studio, Discovery Bay aims to leverage the agency's expertise to enhance its social media presence, foster increased interaction with its target audience, and stay ahead of the latest trends, algorithm updates, and platform features. Ho expressed the desire to reach a younger demographic through engaging, informative, and competitive content on @VisitDiscoveryBay social media platforms.

Sonic Kwok, founder of Rabbit Studio, highlighted the agency's focus on innovation and experience, particularly in the realm of AI technology. By incorporating AI into visual and content creation, Rabbit Studio aims to efficiently develop social content that aligns with Discovery Bay's brand identity.

Earlier this year, Discovery Bay collaborated with Dentsu to refresh its brand image, positioning itself as a preferred destination for living and leisure activities. The brand introduced a new tagline, "Live to Discover," and launched a campaign featuring a video and key visuals that showcase the diversity and vibrancy of Discovery Bay's community and offerings.
