Charles Taylor Prize for Excellence in Policy Research Shortlist
- Martine August: Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo, focusing on the political economy of housing and urban social justice.
- Aaron Bailey: Program coordinator of the Eastside Illicit Drinkers Group for Education (EIDGE) in Vancouver, known for his impactful policy research and advocacy work.
- Lauren Beck: Canada Research Chair in Intercultural Encounter at Mount Allison University, renowned for her contributions to place name policy.
- Sheila Block: Former senior economist at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA), specializing in labor markets, public finance, and inequality.
- Ricardo Tranjan: Political economist and senior researcher at the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives’ Ontario office, with a background in poverty reduction and academia.
